Robotics education for universities and training programs
Your robot, ready to teach.
Ready-to-teach courses, instructor training and lab support for humanoid and legged robots, starting with the Unitree G1 and Go2. Your instructors can be teaching with the robot in one semester.
Many labs buy a robot. Few can teach with it.
A G1 or Go2 often arrives without course materials, trained instructors or lab procedures, and ends up sitting in a corner. We provide all three.
Instructor training
A hands-on workshop on your own robot, followed by support through the first semester and instructor certification.
Lab support
Lab layout, safety procedures, network setup and an IT and data note for your campus security review.
Courses
Every lab starts with Foundations, then adds the course for its robot. The two robot courses run as a 15-week semester (3 credit hours), a 10-week quarter or a 5-day intensive.
F · 6 weeks
Robotics Foundations
Linux, Git and ROS 2, coordinate frames, kinematics and PID control, ending with the diagnosis of real robot data.
H · Humanoid
Humanoid Robotics Systems
Students retarget human motion onto the robot, teleoperate it in real time and generate motion from text.
Q · Legged
Legged Robots and Reinforcement Learning
Students train a locomotion policy in simulation, make it robust and deploy it safely to the robot.
Every new behavior runs in simulation before it runs on the robot. Safety training and an E-stop drill come before anyone touches the robot.

Teacher workshops
In three days you go from unboxing to running every lab in the course, and teach a practice session yourself.
- Online preparation. Two weeks, about 10 hours, in simulation.
- Hands-on workshop. Three days: safety and setup, every lab end to end, then practice teaching.
- First-semester support. Office hours every two weeks and an instructor community.
- Certification. Teach under the LabReady program and run student programs.
About
LabReady Robotics was founded by Yutong Liu, an embodied AI engineer and robotics educator.
The courses come from working robot projects: a Unitree G1 that holds spoken conversations and gestures as it speaks, live motion-capture teleoperation of the G1, and text-to-motion generation. They are also built on a 20-week humanoid engineering program that Yutong already teaches.
